Christina

Christina Wiginton is an inspiring teacher, choreographer, and all around performer. Her passion began at the tender age of three when she took her very first dance class and then progressed into taking her all over the southeast to work with students who thrive off of her high energy and creative classes.  From teaching her first dance class at the age of 15 to personally starting numerous hip-hop and jazz programs in various studios, her positive, vigorous attitude just exudes with her first step into class.  Being well versed in all areas of dance, her first love has always been jazz and hip hop.  Christina has developed a very electrifying teaching style that fuses combinations of jazz, hip-hop, ballet, modern, and a dancer’s own natural movement.  This teaching style is what sets her apart in today’s dance classes.  Her sought after choreography can be seen in many competitive companies and studios in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Kentucky.  “Most Entertaining”, “Most Creative”, “Brought Down the House”, “Platinum”, and “Best Overall” are just some of the awards that Christina’s choreography has received.  Christina’s work also includes solo choreography for the Miss Georgia Pageant, Jr. Miss America Pageant, University of California Scholarship Program, as well as group and solo choreography for various pageants and talent shows. In addition to her dance credits, Christina has worked with competitive cheerleading squads where she has put together many nationally and regionally recognized cheer routines.  Christina continues to work with many dance studios and companies all throughout the south but is now excited to bring her passion and knowledge to her very own studio, CK DanceWorks, Inc.  She teaches over 20 classes a week and is the director of DancElite, the studio’s competitive performing company.  Christina also served as faculty member of the North Atlanta School of the Arts based out of North Cobb Christian where she taught jazz and lyrical jazz.  She now co-owns this studio located outside of Atlanta, GA where she is able to touch and motivate children every week!  Get ready to “rock out” in her class!
